The Boars Head is a village pub that caters for the realistic pocket.

We have real ales from local micro breweries as well as major brewers around the country.
Wines are chosen to compliment our food, or just enjoy with friends.
With Homemade food and locally sourced products, we aim to achieve the highest standards in a friendly atmosphere.
The Open Fire in the Winter is log fuelled, and the logs are also locally sourced by our neighbouring farmers.
If you require good logs at a respectable price please fill in your details on the contact page and we will pass on your information.

The Boars Head is owned by

Sue Maindonald who has worked in the industry and been around the area for 33 years.
The pub stands in the centre of the village next to a cathedral style church.
The surrounding villages play a major part in the business and we are regularly visited by these customers.
The Menu is in place 7 days a week and Blackboards have daily specials and desserts.
